A native San Franciscan with an undergraduate degree in healthcare, Jeannie is the administrative manager for Medical Education at St. Mary’s, including Internal Medicine Residency Training Program, Orthopedic Residency Training Program, Podiatry Residency Training Program, Clerkship Program and the Hospitalist Service. With over 10 years experience in Medical Education, Jeannie’s professional background includes case management, supervision of pre and post surgical clinics, program development, coordination of national and international educational conferences and meeting financial goals.

Janice was born and raised in Chico, California where she completed her bachelor of science degree in Quantitative Management. After college, she worked for Chevron as a computer programmer for more than 13 years. Her initial contact with the medical field was through her own diagnosis of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and her subsequent volunteer work with the Women’s Cancer Resource Center and her work at Planetree library at California Pacific Medical Center where she did medical research for patients. She later ran the Patient Resource Center at Alta Bates Comprehensive Cancer Center in Berkely followed by a Library Coordinator position at the Health and Healing Library (formerly) Planetree at CPMC. She joined the Soloman Library at St. Mary’s this year, bringing with her 11 years of library experience. In addition, Janice has taken master classes for Holistic Health and Education. She is a buddhist who loves Shakespeare and going to Ashland Oregon and the Sierra Nevada. She has an identical twin Janet.
