Chief Residents: 2008 / 2009
Ritu Bansal, MD
Dr. Ritu Bansal, a native of Mumbai, India, attended medical school
at the prestigious Mahatma Gandhi Missions’ Medical College in
Mumbai. Immediately following graduation in 2003, Dr Bansal worked as
a research fellow in cardiology at Stanford University. In 2008, Dr Bansal
completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at the St Mary’s
Medical Center in San Francisco, where she was honored as recipient of
the “Best Resident” Award for the graduating class of 2008.
Other than her baby daughter, who is the love of her life, Dr Bansal’s
special interests are Women’s Health and Preventive Medicine. In
her leisure time, she enjoys travel, learning new cultures, and watching
movies. She is presently building up her primary care practice in San
Francisco, while she contributes to medical education as Chief Resident
at St Mary’s Medical Center.
